For an early birthday present this year, my dad got me the iPhone. I was really happy, even though it comes with an added bill that I will have to pay monthly. This thing is ridiculous. I thought my last phone was nice, but this one...keeps me up at night. I stayed up until 1:00 this morning exploring my endless options. After my first night having it, I set the alarm for church. The next morning I woke up to crickets chirping from my iPhone's speakers, which sounded like a Bose sound system. While driving (or riding in my case) I can just use it as a fast powered GPS system. I have internet on my phone that is as fast as my computer practically. I had internet on my last phone but I am pretty sure it was slower than I have patience for and I had to pay extra money each time I used it. I am still getting used to the fact that I can go on Facebook in the car. Basically, I am in awe of the technological advances that are happening all the time. It makes me wonder how there isn't a cure for lots of diseases, but I could probably turn my phone sideways and press nine and it would sing happy birthday to my grandma.
I am still trying to figure out how to get more ringtones, etc. or A ringtone for that matter. The pre-set ones include motorcycles starting and an old fashioned car horn. If I ever heard someone's phone go "Ayeeeoooooogah" when it rang, I would feel weird, so I won't make that my ringtone.

good question about the disease thing. i dont know why there aren't more cures either. maybe the smarter scientist guys choose technology over disease cures. although i'd have to think there's more money is curing cancer than in creating the new chocolate. there's only so many flavors left before they come up with the tuna chocolate which probably wouldnt be a big hit. anyway, kudos to you for being saavy enough to even have an iphone. I'm still working out how to us my ipod nano. and i've had it for 3 years.
ummmmmmmmmmm. i disapprove of the format change. your left sidebar is gigantic, but really holds no pertinent information. I know i'm supposed to be commenting on the content of your blog, but i just can't handle the style change.
Yeah, Nate...I thought that was too big too, but as the title of my blog states- I can't handle the technology to figure it out. So many people have cool customized blog designs with custom pics and stuff. I picked a new layout now, just for you. Maybe sometime you could help me design something more appealing -artistically speaking.
