An ESL Christmas :)

I am incredibly thankful that my students are ALL awesome this year. I don't have one "Bad one" in the bunch. This is my best year ever as far as cooperative, lovable kids. We are a great team of 17!
This year was the first year that I decided to have a Christmas party for the kids after school. We planned it for Monday, to make Monday a bit more bearable. Plus, we have no school Friday! So it is a nice short week.
I was so grateful to have BOTH of my sisters there to help me with the craft stations and my mom came to help out, too. So much easier than trying to monitor 15 teenagers at a party alone.
We had 6 pizzas, soda, decorate-your-own cupcakes, clementines, and then a bunch of ornaments and crafts the kids could make to take home as gifts for their parents. We helped them wrap them up and they were so happy to be able to give their parents and siblings something little for Christmas. Here are a few pictures from the afternoon:

Samuel eating pizza! Kayla & Nini painting ornaments

Tha Dah Ler & Fairy making snowball ornaments.

An awesome group of young girls.

um... remember what I said before... you're the best teacher ever. And this is why. I love hearing about how much you love your kids:)
